Biohazard donuts
Fascinating article on the development and testing of the biohazard warning symbol. When I was in high school, one of my friends had a mom who worked in a hospital. She would bring home leftover donuts after her shift was over. And of course, the most airtight and convenient bags she could find were biohazard waste disposal bags.
I always felt bad about blatantly ignoring the symbol. But I ate the donuts anyway.
