Google Trends

Google released a new tool that lets you graph trends in search term popularity over the last few years. It's fun; try to guess the what the graph looks like before you click:

• 2006
• katrina
• snowblower
• britney (hint: it's a market underperformer).
• google v. microsoft
• intelligent design v. evolution (ha!)
• monkeys (I completely missed this story)
• hummer v. prius (not what I expected)
  

But perhaps the most vexing question is: what the hell is going in in Rochdale, UK? (Via reddit)
