Climate expert pressured to shut up: Why I don't get that angry anymore.
From the New York Times: The top climate scientist at NASA says the Bush administration has tried to stop him from speaking out since he gave a lecture last month calling for prompt reductions in emissions of greenhouse gases linked to global warming.Whenever I start to think about the way the republicans are ruining everything that was ever good about this country, stealing our freedoms, and messing up the planet for a little temporary comfort, I think of the coming economic disaster and post-global-warming Mad Max future they're giving us. And I don't even get that mad, because in the Thunderdome, we're going to have a word for people who supported the destruction of our world.
That word is "food".

three things:
one- i never noticed you put adds on your blog. i must be thick.
two- mad max/thunderdome/et al should be required viewing to graduate high school now. there should also be some sort of survivalist curiculum.
three- people need to learn to laugh more.
